Experience real farming activities that change with the seasons, and enjoy a nutritious lunch made with plenty of fresh, seasonal vegetables.
Held once a month since August 2024.
This special children's cafeteria is run directly by farmers, offering a chance to connect with nature and nourish both body and heart.
Nishiyama Plogging Event
“Plogging” is a Swedish-born SDGs sport that combines picking up litter ("Plocka Upp") with jogging.
Co-hosted with Sportskan Mitsuhashi Co., Ltd., this event will take place about twice a year in each of the four cities and towns in the Nishiyama area (Rakusei in Nishikyo Ward, Kyoto City; Nagaokakyo City; Muko City; and Oyamazaki Town), for a total of approximately eight times a year.
The first event was held in January 2025 in the Nagaokakyo area!
